Lily Allen blames label for delay of upcoming album






Lily Allen has blamed changes at her record company, EMI, for the delay in cathartic her secondment album, BBC?News Online reports.

Writing on her blog, Allen said her album had �been finished for a while now� and admitted she did not �really know what�s going on with it.�

Nearly 2,000 jobs were lost afterward EMI was bought by private equity firm Terra Firma lowest year. Allen said she hoped the new record album would be out before long.

�The record industry is a very political place at the moment,� Allen wrote on her website. �Lots of people have been fired or have interpreted redundancy late as the company (EMI) was taken over . . . Many of these people were people assigned to my projects and now I don�t quite know what�s going on.�
