Richard relieved to quit EastEnders

Actress Wendy Richard has revealed that she left 'EastEnders' because she was feeling stressed out over her storylines and was tired of the heavy filming schedules.
According to the Mirror, the 64-year-old actress, who played Pauline Fowler in the show, also said that she doesn't watch the soap anymore.
Richard said: "I consider 'EastEnders' to be in the past, finished. I stopped watching it before I left."
"'EastEnders' is a great big machine. You can't stop it and it is so hard to get off. I was really struggling to cope. The pressure was always on me."
Richard also said that she feels more relaxed since quitting the show, saying: "I feel better in myself. I have no stress any more."
"It's quite a release. Life is more relaxed. My shoulders were tight all the time before," she said.
Referring to her friends at 'EastEnders', she said: "I don't feel like I've lost my family. We meet up when we can."

Coolio Demands Gangsta Refund

Coolio may have lost $10,030 last night. 10 grand for bail, and 30 bucks for parking.
Coolio
Before getting popped for driving on a suspended license, Mr. "I Used To Be Cool-io" was unceremoniously rejected from a Hollywood club -- One Sunset. Ever the Fruglio, the rapper tried to recoup his loss by pleading for a refund from the valet. 30 bucks can buy you.....like 100 gangsta Ziplocs.

He got $10 bucks back, and ten minutes later he was being chauffeured by L.A.'s finest.

Take That rule out Robbie return

Take That have ruled out the possibility of Robbie Williams rejoining the group, claiming that there is "no place" for him.
The reformed boyband had previously stated that the door was "always open" for Williams to return to the group but have now apparently changed their minds.
Speaking to The Big Issue magazine, chief songwriter Gary Barlow said: "I think, when it comes down to it, he's just not going to be in the band again. I just don't think there's a place for him now here."
Talking about their initial decision to reunite Mark Owen added: "We asked [Robbie], but he had other commitments - he had to walk his dog that day."
Rumours that Williams was set to make a return to the group gathered pace earlier this year when the singer was spotted with Owen and Barlow in LA.
Williams' mum also recently said that she believed her son would end up rejoining the group in the future.

Coldplay boot out sexy Kylie

BRITISH rockers Coldplay have axed a duet with Kylie Minogue from their new album, claiming it was "too sexy" and didn't fit in with the tone of the rest of the album.
The band teamed up with the Australian singer for Luna but frontman Chris Martin admits it just didn’t fit in with the serious tone of their new LP Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends. Martin said: “At this point we cannot be that sexy. It’s a song called Luna and Kylie was particularly brilliant on it. “She writes most of our stuff – and we design most of her outfits!” However, the musician has promised fans they will get to hear the song, saying: “It will be on a record we will put out in 2009, sometime at the end of next year. It will be track nine, I imagine.” Meanwhile, Chris claims to be the only person in the world who believes in Zeus. The 31-year-old star, who was raised as a Christian, is exploring his faith but is interested in the Greek god of sky and thunder. He said: “I’m always trying to work out what he or she or it is. I’m not sure who’s right. I don’t know if it’s Allah or Jesus or Mohammed or Zeus. But I’d maybe go for Zeus. “I lay claim to being the only person in the world who still believes in Zeus.” Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends is released next week.

Duffy plans to camp at Glastonbury

Duffy says she will turn down VIP treatment and camp at Glastonbury.

The soul singer, 23, said she snubbed the offer of hotel accommodation for her gig at the summer festival.

"My label has booked me a room in a posh hotel for when I go to Glastonbury," she told the Daily Star. "But I'm going to do it properly on principle.

"I'm gonna pitch up a tent and explore."

She also claimed she would never employ a security team because it would annoy her that she couldn't go out and chat up men.

"I'll never be one of those artists who take security and an entourage with them," said the Rockferry star.

"I'd hate a big man following me around - I'd be like: 'Aaargh, back off. I wanna pull'."

'Black President' makes colorful debut online

The YouTube Obama Girl is history. As far as rap fans are concerned, Nas just wrote the Democratic nominee’s unofficial anthem.
“Black President” was leaked onto the Internet last Friday by DJ Green Lantern, who produced the track for Nas’ upcoming street disc, “The (racial epithet) Mixtape,” which hit the Web this week. Within hours, the cut triggered thousands of reactions on sites including HipHopGame.com and HipHopDX.com.
The track starts with Obama being introduced as the next president of the United States. Nas calls Obama a “new, improved JFK” and says the Illinois senator “provides hope and challenges minds of all races and colors to erase the hate.”

For the hook, Nas and Lantern sampled an ironic verse from the 1997 single “I Wonder If Heaven Got A Ghetto” by the late Tupac Shakur: “Although it may seem heaven sent, we ain’t ready to see a black president.”
“Nas not only supports the idea of Obama being president,” Lantern told HipHopGalaxy.com, “he actually questions it in the second verse in true Nas fashion. (“I can trust this brother,” raps Nas, “but will he keep it way real?”). “He’s positive and uplifting, but critical at the same time.”
According to Lantern, Nas liked “Black President” so much that he decided to make the track a late addition to his already controversial July 15 release. Nas originally announced the CD’s title would be the N-word, but was persuaded to change it to “Untitled.” The album’s cover photo, released by Def Jam on Monday, features the letter N on Nas’ back in whip marks.

Willoughby defends her TV wardrobe

Television presenter Holly Willoughby has defended her wardrobe for the reality show 'Dancing on Ice' after criticism from viewers.
According to reports, members of the public have complained that the presenter's dresses are too revealing.
Responding to the complaints on ITV show 'Loose Women', Willoughby said: "It's just the weirdest thing that has ever happened - like I've been living in someone else's world the last two weeks."
"My body dictates that it suits certain things, so I always wear the same style of dress. Unfortunately those are the things that get attention. It would be nice if the publicity was, 'Isn't she good at her job?'."
She also told The Mirror: "I can't believe the stir it caused. I like to wear feminine clothes and I've had people coming up to me in the street saying how much they liked it."
